Glenn Wills, author of Forgotten Alabama and More Forgotten Alabama, takes us on his journey across Alabama as he documents the remnants of Alabama’s past. What started as a chance encounter of noticing an old car along the highway and not having a camera became a mission.

That mission became a passion. Over the course of the last ten years, Glenn visited all of Alabama’s 67 counties, logged over 40,000 miles and has taken over 25,000 photographs. Be it an old house, an abandoned store ,a derelict bridge or any number of other physical reminders of the past, all of these played a role in our lives at some point. Glenn felt the need to save those memories in his book Forgotten Alabama.

The presentation is very visual and has been well received by many across Alabama. The program runs around 45 minutes and is followed by a question and answer session. Copies of each book are available the day of the presentation and available to be autographed by the Mr. Willis.
