Piney Woods Art Festival

A lot of effort goes into making an art festival a success. One important aspect of a good festival is having entertaining bands. Piney Woods Art Festival has done just that.

E-Town –

The band E-Town could just be the youngest, most sought-after performing group of festivals, events and fairs in the State of Alabama.  Home-based out of Enterprise, the five very talented young men who make up the band are just 15 and 16 years old.  The group got together two years ago, and while many their age are spending hours playing games on their iPads, these five young men are honing their skills by performing and playing music all over the South.  They are one of this year’s Wiregrass Talent Quest winners, which put them on the main stage of the Dothan Civic Center.  As songwriters, for the past several months they have been in the studio working on their first CD project.  The five young men who make up E-Town are John Ramiccio, Joseph Rushing, Mikey Joreski and Nick Garcia; all of Enterprise, as well as Jordan Clark from Geneva. – Randy Halcomb

Josh Knight –

Josh is 22 years old. He was born and raised in Slocomb, Alabama and is currently attending Auburn University. Josh started playing music when he was ten years old. His grandpa taught him how to play the guitar, which led to Josh helping him in church on Sundays. From there he started to realize how much he loved music, so any free time he had was spent playing a guitar and singing somewhere. Whether it was at school, in concert choir or at some festival, it did not matter. Josh sings a lot of country music, but he’ll add some classic rock in there too, such as “Proud Mary” by Creedence Clearwater Revival.

Con Amore –

Con Amore takes pride in performing all styles and genres from classical, jazz, contemporary, pop, and everything in between. Con Amore is a group of classically-trained musicians located in Enterprise, Alabama. Con Amore specializes in performing weddings, parties, and special events in the Tri-State area. They offer services for a solo performer, duo, trio or quartet. Instruments offered are violin, cello, piano, viola, classical guitar and flute. Check them out at Piney Woods this year!
